Multi-objective optimization of three rows of film cooling holes by genetic algorithm

Aero-thermal optimization on multi-rows of film cooling over a flat plate has been performed to optimize the inclination angles. Hence three cylindrical holes with injection angles ?, and ? have considered. The hole 3 mm diameter an inclined angle between 25-35?. Numerical simulations were at fixed density ratio 1.25 blowing 0.5. control-volume method SIMPLEC algorithm used solve steady-state RANS equations SST k-? turbulent model. are selected as design variables perform rows cooling. In order evaluate performance arrangement, two objective functions defined based aerodynamic losses adiabatic effectiveness. curve fitting is find optimal point functions. optimizations using genetic method. Results present study show that best was achieved in 25.45, 32.85, 33.1.
